Directed by Tom Weaver and assisted by Eric Vasquez, the Nordonia High School Band program is a diverse musical environment. Opportunities include Marching Band, Color Guard, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, Jazz Band, and Chamber Ensembles.

Directed by Mary Schrembeck, the middle school bands here at Nordonia are notorious for their advanced musicianship. With 7th Grade Band, 7th Grade Jazz, 8th Grade Band and 8th Grade Jazz, the students have an opportunity to explore what music has to offer.

Directed by Eric Vasquez, the Lee Eaton Band is composed of over 100 6th grade students eager to learn more about the art of music while also learning how to play choice instruments. We are lucky here at Nordonia to have an amazing staff compiled of legendary teachers and private instructors that all work together to make our beginning program a success.

In his 11th year at Nordonia, Mr. Weaver directs the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and Jazz Band at the high school. He also assists at the Middle School and Lee Eaton Elementary band programs.

In her 25th year, Mrs. Schrembeck directs the 7th and 8th Grade Concert Bands, 7th and 8th Grade Jazz Bands, and teaches 8th grade General Music. She also assists with the bands at the High School and Lee Eaton Elementary.

Mr. Vasquez is in his 3rd year as part of the Nordonia Marching Band staff. Directing the 6th grade Beginning Band, High School Concert Band, and assisting with the Marching Band and Middle School Bands. He is in his 3rd year as the assistant band director, but is actually in his 9th year as part of the Marching Band staff. He is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in Jazz Studies.
